So I have a 2005 ford mustang v6 with 97k on it, and i just recently bought a OBD-2 scanner and everything was perfect except 2, o2 sensors. Bank 1&2 sensor 3.
So my question is where would i find these? i can see 2 of them from the engine bay but i do not wanna put the wrong ones in? im assuming that sensor 3 and 4 are downstream and then 1&2 are upstream?
would they be more towards the back of the exhaust and would they be close to the exhaust?

thanks for any help guys most appreciated.

There are two upstream O2 sensors 4.0L V6 Upstream & Downstream Sensor Locations

If a V6 engine has dual exhausts with dual converters, the downstream O2 sensors would be labeled Bank 1, Sensor 2 and Bank 2, Sensor 2. Or, the downstream oxygen sensor might be labeled Bank 1 Sensor 3 if the engine has two upstream oxygen sensors in the exhaust manifold (some do to more accurately monitor emissions).
