o2 senser stuck lean! NEed help!

      I have a 2003 Lincoln Navigator and the engine light came on and it said both o2 sensors. I changed them and when i go back to get the code test its saying both o2 sensors are stuck on lean…very confused. My mpg went up. losing gas. need help! :stick: Thankyouu

        Check for cuts and holes from the air filter box to the throttle body.

            Air is sneaking past your sensors like the mas air flow into your engine Un detected. Your car is trying to figure out how much is going In to create the proper fuel mixture but can not due to the before mentioned. You need to smoke test it and figure out where it is leaking from. If you find nothing then you must start looking for fuel restriction. Keep us posted.

              Another Check is where the PCV hose elbow thats attached to the intake manifold for a vacuum leak.

                O2 lean codes do not necessarily mean you have bad O2 sensors. It likely means you have a lean condition that needs to be addressed. Look for vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks near the O2 sensors. Also a good idea to verify the wiring and connectors are good as any issues there can also set codes. More info here.
