Have you ever had one of those days, weeks, years….? I’m not complaining so much in this video as I’m trying to point out that not everything works out like you plan. Happens to everyone, it’s just part of life I guess.

I have these times repeatedly, all of my life.
But I am so nervous man, that I can not pass thru so well as you Eric.
Respect for your mind peace an ability talk about this with smile.
🙂I will have fingers crossed for better times.

Thanks for your comments.
September 25, 2014 at 2:52 am #623055It really sucks when you have a period of time when NOTHING goes right. I think everyone has those times and we seem to get over them somehow.
However, when you are in the trenches for as long as I have you seem to have bad days more frequently. The people you work for just don’t understand (or care) that you’re having a bad day and it can sure drag you down sometimes.
When I do have a bad day I get stubborn and work twice as hard at the problem and end up being stressed to the limit. Some people simply walk away but I attack the problem from all angles until I win.
I guess most of the stress is self inflicted because I really do care about everything I do.
September 25, 2014 at 3:41 am #623061Lovingly restored a 1970 Norton Commando 750 cc motorcycle a while back. First ride a loose dog darted out into T-bone position. Dog died on the spot. Norton all wrecked. My riding gear all scuffed up, but my flesh intact. Bad luck. Pissed off. Much angst. Now one of my favorite stores to tell my riding buddies.

Tragic on many levels but at least you made it out unscathed. It is a good story.

wysetech ,I completely understand what you’re going through…I’ve been retired for a year now and I have no- more bad days /bad weeks working on pieces of trash Chevy’s and Ford’s and especially around the people I worked for . :woohoo:
As they say; a bad day fishing is a better than a good day at work.

That does sound nice. Let’s go.
October 3, 2014 at 9:45 am #624617It seems like this has been the theme of my life recently. I’m trying to keep in mind that tomorrow is a new day and a chance to start from scratch. Setbacks can be solved with a clear head and relentless positive action.
I’m finding that putting the problems into perspective can help too. Work has sucked, I’ve been sick and the car repair was taking multiples of the originally planned time. But on the other hand, I’m going home to a great girl at the end of the day, I just walked to the library to pick up a Martin Amis novel, and I’ve got food on the table. Things could be worse, ya know?
I’m also trying to do some good for others.
Just keep moving.

I love Martin Amis. I’m sure reading one of his novels will make you feel better about your life. 🙂
October 3, 2014 at 7:00 pm #624655For some, shit happens much more often than for others. For me, I’m at a point where I get suspicious when my day actually goes well. Eric, the next time you feel like throwing a wrench…Just stop, take a deep breath, give me a call, and I’ll loan you one of my wrenches to throw around. I know what you’re thinking…”But what if you need a wrench to throw around?” It’s ok. I’ll be busy introducing my truck to a sledgehammer.

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the offer. 🙂
