Does it still have oil in it? Did you hear any funny noises when you turned it? Is the belt still intact? What do the plugs look like (assuming they were all still there)?

Please answer all the questions so I don’t have to continually repeat them.
What did the plugs look like? You did put the transmission in neutral before trying to turn it right? Is the belt still intact? What does the coolant (in the radiator not reservoir) look like?

Stick a fork in it, I think she’s done.

You should be able to turn the engine with plugs in it, but that’s beside the point, if you pulled the plugs and got no rotation from the crank, even with a regular sized 1/2 ratchet there should be something. Anyways, it would appear as if something failed internally causing a loss of oil pressure which in turn has turned your motor into a paperweight. 🙁

Time to either go car shopping or check out car-part.com and try to find a used motor.

Although it has no bearing on anything, if you have access to a wiring diagram, you can look to see how many wires your oil pressure sending unit has. If it only has one it is merely a switch, which means that any “gauge” on the dash is simply for looks and provides no actual indication of pressure.

my thoughts are that your oil pump gave out, your lifters started clattering from the lack of oil pressure and eventually the engine seized from lack of lube.
