Hi there,
I am getting ready to do a lot of little repairs to my 2003 Dodge Dakota. Power steering fluid replacement, differential oil replacement, throttle body cleaning MAF sensor cleaning etc. I also wanted to replace the fuel filter, but it is integrated into the fuel pump assembly and in order to completely replace it you have to replace the whole assembly. I have to drop the fuel tank to do this, Thanks Daimler Chrysler. Is there anyone out there who has taken care of this problem? I’m sure that 10 years of service has left it pretty nasty, robbing fuel pressure and I want to take care of it. What is the most cost effective course of action here? I really don’t want to just fill my tank with solvents either.
Thanks.
