Noise from dash.

Hi. I have a 1999 Honda civic lx. When I turn the temperature knob to max cold, I hear this motor like noise that continues for about 1 minute or so and then it stops. If I move the temperature knob to just above max cold, the noise will stop. Air functions fine. No problems there. What could it be? Here is a video of the problem. You can here some hard thumping noises in the video. That’s just the rain.

Just a guess , but I would say it is one of the blend door actuators / motors ?

Ok. I’ll have to figure out how to get to it and see if that’s the problem.

Under the dash . And most likely it is not going to be fun / easy .

You have a Chilton or Haynes book on the car ?
