No start no radio

I have a 2002 Hyandai Elanta standard 5 door

When I attempt to start the car it will not crank but will run if I pop the clutch.

Once the car is running the following will not work
gas gauge
temp gauge
trip log resets
mpg resets
radio
clock
low beams

Also the driver side look lock will not control the other doors unless the key is in the ignition.
I have put in a new battery

Any thoughts?

The items you describe that don’t work tells me the alternator has failed.

Basically you have to pop the clutch because the alternator is not charging the battery.New alternator time.

Charge the battery and once running check the battery voltage; if you do not see at least 13VDC or the value decreasing it will be the alternator.

Check the electrical connection on the alternator for corrosion and tightness

With the engine off check the belt, if the alternator will spin the belt tensioner could be the problem or the belt might need adjustment.

Any good auto part store should be able to check the alternator.

If replacing the alternator, this would be a great time to check the condition of the belt and tensioner and replace as necessary.
