no start after pulling and replacing FP relay

I’m back with another one…went to check fuel pressure. I pulled the fuel pump relay to relieve pressure. Had problems with my gauge, getting late so I decided to quit and try again tomorrow.
I put the relay back in…now the truck won’t start. I don’t know what I could have done to cause this one…any ideas?

3 quick things come to mind. Make sure its in the correct spot. Make sure it is installed the right way and lastly make sure the shrader valve or the line you disconnect didn’t dumping fuel. I assume its cranking? I also assume pressure was good. Did it give you a reading? What year and make?

….nevermind. I’m an idiot. plugged into the wrong spot. this is why I don’t work on my cars after 8:00…I start getting tired and stupid. I thank you very much for your willingness to help though.

Ok. Did you suspect a fuel issue to begin with? Tomorrow I would turn the key on and listen for pump to prime if it foes hypothetically your circuit is good. If not check all fuses. Post back tomorrow and ill try to help.

It’s cranking fine now that I have the relay in properly. I have another thread going already as far as the reason I was testing fuel pressure. Thanks for staying with this and helping.
