Good day all and thank you for the time reading this Erics videos have been a great help to me with this little honda I just bought and drove across Canada had a few problems put a new belt on just changed old very badly burnt spark plugs, but the car started dimming lights on the dash radio cut out then the car stalled and would not restart.

What happens when you turn the key now? Just to make sure, you were driving when this happened. I would start by checking the electrical system. If you have access to a DVOM, awesome. Verify battery voltage, and check the connections at the battery. You say a new battery is in the car but still check. Corrosion can be a tricky thing allowing you to feel warm inside until it decides to mess with you. The alternator could be giving you grief as well. Without knowing the car to well, I am assuming(I know) you are talking about a new drive belt. How tight is tight? Faulty alternator could cause a lot of problems and not allow your battery to recharge. This is only a starting point but see what else you can find. Good luck!
Given the age and local of the vehicle I would be checking the cables and connections especially the ground connections as it sounds like you don’t have enough electral flow in the system and grounds are often the cause of this issue in my experience so look for rusted or loose grounds for starters. It’s also a good idea to ensure that you have clean tight connections at the battery as this can also lead to increased resistance and poor electrical performance. Good luck.
