      wondering how to effectively clean parts without parts washer or hot tank. the parts may include things like intake manifold, cylinder head, cam assembly, carburetor, ect… i’ve seen a product called “Chem-Dip” but didn’t know if it was appropriate.
      any help would be appreciated and if i’ve missed previous posts please point me in the right direction, i searched the forum and came up with very little…

        Here’s a pretty simple setup for cheap.

          The most important part is the chemical used. I started out using gasoline but wouldn’t recommend that nowadays. I use the liquid detergent from Harbor Freight. Depending on concentration it will remove paint.
