She is running great with the rebuilt engine. Still wants to throw a code (probably some degree of vacuum leak somewhere) but no performance/economy issues so not worried about it.
On to the next project.
Car stops fine but since I want to run a little SOLO (cone course) stuff with SCCA and NASA, I want to replace brakes. Going with new rotors, pads, and rebuilt calipers. I’ve done this work before on a 1976 Corvette so should be ok. I’ll try to post pics as I do the work.
I’m primarily doing it because I know prior owner had brake issue with one wheel and not sure everything is all matched up right. And one rear caliper has been replaced (due to old one locking up) but not both. Again, prior to me getting car.
I’m basically staying with stock and think I’ll be fine since any “track time” will be very limited. Got all the parts at great prices so well within budget (so far).
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Will start project in a couple of weeks.
