Hey there everybody my name is Ty and im a partially disabled mechanic.

I have a small shop at home i work out of doing whatever job that roles in that i have the tooling and knowledge to complete.

Iv watched many videos shot by Eric on YouTube but just recently came across the Forum here and so far i like it.

Iv been working on cars and trucks sense i was 8 years old and now im 47 and beat up like some of my oldest tools lol.

About 28 years ago i was in a horrific car accident back in Illinois where im originally from loosing the use of my left arm due to a traumatic brain injury so ever sense iv done all my wrenching with the other arm and let me tell ya being a mechanic isn’t easy but being half of one is a pain in the backside lol.

So for now take care y’all.

              Thanks for the welcome guys!

As for my cripple tricks as i call them they always unique to the situation whether its using another part of my body or hand manipulation and using other objects to do something they are not intended to do.

I also fabricate custom tools to make difficult jobs easier even for two handed people.

After all the years of being disabled its just second nature to me.

Thanks again for the welcome 🙂

That’s what I’m talking about. I’d love to hear about the tools and techniques.
I friend (transmission expert) lost his legs to complications with diabetes, but still worked rebuilding transmissions, with a few tricks and a little help.
