Hello everyone. Hope all is well and your cars are running great. I have a 2008 Honda Element SC sitting on 236,753 miles. I discovered a small triclke of water on my passender side mat. I pulled it back and there was some water soaked within the carpet. It did just rain so I’m not sure if that is the issue or the drain is clogged. When I pulled the carpet back there was a lot of debris (leaves etc) under the right corner. The carpet was in there tight so that’s a mystery. I’ve searched you tube to see if I can find some sort of drain line to see if its clogged and how to unclog it. Can’t find a thing. Anyone out there have an idea? Thanks in advance.

I just noticed it’s coming in from the outside of the car. Any suggestions for repair?

Find out where the water is coming from.

Have someone with a hose spray the car while you are in it and look for the source…

          Good luck

Sounds like you found out the general area of where the water’s coming from. I’d start by taking out the glove box and shining some light through that area toward the corner right engine bay area and see if someone on the other end sees a gap of light. Maybe reverse that from engine side down into glove box area? Probably not easy to find Element solutions even at a Honda dealership. Most of them beeline straight to W/S. Good luck and great mileage, Dawn!
