New/sealed brake fluid shelf life?

I know that an open bottle of brake fluid has a pretty short shelf life because of moisture contaminating the fluid.
But what is the shelf life of a brand new and sealed bottle that has been sitting in my shed for 2 years (New England, so very cold winters and very hot and hunid summers)? Again – sealed bottle.

Brake fluid companies (depending on who you ask) answer was two to five years is a safe number for an unopened container.
