New ignition key?

Doing a manual conversion on a 99 Accord. Can anyone out there confirm that when installing a manual ECU into a previously automatic car, I’ll need to replace the ignition key? Also, if the ECU was from a car of the same exact model (99 Accord LX sedan) and the only difference is the transmission type, it shouldn’t need any reprogramming right? Yes, I do have the manual wiring harness
