Hey all, new on here but no stranger to wrenching on cars. I’ve been into cars since I started driving in the mid 90’s. My dad got me my first tool kit when I went off to college in 1998, and it just blew up from there!

I tend to keep stuff as long as possible. I’ve been driving for over 16 years and am still only on my 2nd car, a 1994 Acura Integra GS-R that I purchased in 2001 with 89K miles on it. It currently has 324K miles on it, with all original engine and transmission internals. However at the moment it will crank but won’t start. I posted a topic about that.

I also work on my wife’s 1996 Toyota Corolla that she’s had since before we were married in 2007. I’ve done 100% of all mechanical work on both cars since I’ve owned them, including a complete A/C system overhaul last year in the Corolla. To say I’m a DIY’er is a bit of an understatement LOL.

I came across Eric’s vids just a few days ago when researching wheel bearing replacement for my brother’s Honda Civic. These look like some cool vids so I’m hoping I’ll be able to learn even more than what I currently know about Hondas and other cars.

cool to see someone with expert wrench turning ability, yet no formal automotive schooling. having only 2 cars in 16 years is quite impressive.
