I’ve been watching ETCG videos for years and never signed onto the forum. I’ve been on forums avidly since about 2004, so i didn’t really have room for another membership. If you recognize my name, then yeah, it’s me. I was on LS1tech and CZ28.com for a long time. I’m still on tech, but not as much anymore.

I’m a serious gearhead and a heavy equipment mechanic, so I come home and do my research on this too.

Anyway.. I’m a pretty well rounded gearhead. I had a 2000 Camaro Z28 for about 10 years and sold it last year. I had a ton of mods into that and it was pushing 440rwhp. Heads and cam LS1 with a 102/102 swap and a full return fuel system, bulletproof T56 and McLeod clutch. I taught myself how to tune it also. i ddi that for a couple years and took the job I have now where I couldn’t afford it after all of the mods aged and needed to be replaced… Anyway..

I’m driving a 2008 R32 VW now. I’m gonna sell it so I can get a cheaper daily driver. Looking at a 2000-2004 Jeep grand Cherokee. Something easier to pay off so I can save for a house..

But anyway.. I’ve been a mechanic and a gearhead pretty much my whole life. I went to a 1 year auto tech school. Graduated with a simple diploma in Automotive Technology in 2000 and then worked in the field for a couple years. I was Active Duty USAF Civil Engineer Pavement and Equipment maintenance for 6 years, Staff Sergeant from 2003 to 2008 when I got medically discharged. I also did a couple semesters at University of Hartford for an Associated degree in Liberals arts when I got out. I’m a Civilian Employee for the USCG heavy Mobile Equipment mechanic at Cape Cod MA. I got back into the field after I got out of the MIL and I’m much happier with this than I was as an operator. I love my job.. B) :silly: I get to work on a wide variety of stuff and I even bought my first Snap-On Classic 96 Roll cab at my last job.. 😀 That was a big achievement for me..

Here’s a pic of the camaro.
