New fuel filter leaking

      There isn’t a need for a washer on the inlet to the filter because it’s a flare fitting._x000D_

      Get an OEM Honda filter, they are much better than aftermarket – I’ve cut them open before. There shouldn’t be a need to solder, glue, or ghetto rig anything._x000D_

        Okay, hopefully the flare part of the fuel line is not damaged, as that will ruin your weekend. Inspect the female line that goes to the filter and see if anything is gouged or damaged. There are tools that are used on flare ends and fittings, but those w

          The filter is a purflux brand, well known in France for oil filters ect._x000D_

          I was in the parts shop to get something else and on the list found one for my Honda._x000D_
          _x000D_
          It looks the same._x000D_
          _x000D_
          But it also is for Hyundai and Rover, so maybe the washer is needed

              I’m glad you fixed it and that there was no damage to the fuel line. I’ve had my fair share of high quality aftermarket parts not work correctly. That is why I usually try to get OEM unless it is ridiculously more expensive._x000D_
