I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S. I recently change the water pump and Drive belt( the P.S. belt and the A.C. belt). When I crank the car it wont ignite and if it does start, it bogs first and then it will ignite. but then I need to be cranking for 5 secs or more. So what I did next was to remove the drive belts and guesst what? It the engine start it up like a should. Does anyone give any suggestion Please?

Compare your new belt to your old belt and make sure the new one’s size is correct. Also while it is off, check the movement (rotation by hand) of all the belt’s pulleys (PS/AC/WP). Is the pulley on the new Water Pump the exact same size as the old water pump? Also check to ensure you installed the belt in the proper configuration.

The only thing that makes sense is that the belts or the puleys they are driving are creating a lot of resistance 2 starting the car. Make sure all of your pulleys spin freely and the belts are not too tight. Let us know what you find. Good luck

sounds like extra load on the engine.as suggested
            check accessories for binding.

The belts are OEM and the same size.. I will check each pulley again to make sure they are spinning freely. About the water pump, the pulley came off the old pump and it screws on the new one. so it should be the same size. I took it a step further and remove the P.S. belt to isolate the problem. so the only belt that was on, was the A.C. belt, which wraps around the A.C., alternator, and crank pulley. Then I start up the engine and it still lagged. so there is something going on with does pulleys or I might not be putting the belt on correctly.

Sounds like you’ve narrowed it down to the alternator or AC compressor. My guess is AC compressor.
Alternator pulley should spin easily by hand. So should the AC compressor pulley unless there is a problem with the clutch. The AC compressor pulley uses an electrically operated clutch to engage. If the compressor is not engaged then the pulley spins easily by hand. If the clutch is engaged then that pulley would be hard to turn – as it is when the AC compressor is running. From the HVAC control panel on your dash make sure you have not selected defrost. Defrost will sometimes engage AC compressor even if AC is not explicitly chosen. Make sure AC is off. Also check connectors to the AC compressor. There is usually a connector for a pressure switch and the compressor clutch. Maybe something got disconnected during the recent repair.

well i think the belts are fine because, now and then, it starts fine. I think the problem might be something else. I also took the car to my uncle’s shop while I was visiting my parents. The mechanic said that he was getting a P0300 on his scanner, so he change the camshaft sensor and the crank sensor. He Also mention that it sound like the timing chain might of skip. so he said he is going to check the timing chain. Well let see what happens.

Gonna start a new topic called “Spark plugs out again”. this happen to be previously were the spark were no longer blue/ so I change them about a month month ago. mow it is sparking yellow. BTW the mechanic at my uncle shop never got checking out the timing chain. I gave him 3 hrs because he said to give 2 hrs. so when I called back he was gone. so I brought the car back home and now it wont start. this happened to me a month ago were the car would not start. so the check for fuel and spark. There was fuel but the spark were like a orange color. So I bought new NGK spark plugs, the spark is blue, put them on and magically the car stared. now I am back to weak orange sparks.
