New car maintenance!

i have a jeep wrangler 2013 with 20k miles, im planing to keep this car for a while so i want to keep up with all the maintenance. i been keeping up with oil changes! the car with low miles would it be fine to do a fuel sytem cleaner?the one you just pour in the gas tank
what about once the engine reaches 30k? changing fuilds?

It never hurts to run a fuel system cleaner. just keep up on the oil changes and you should be fine. at 30000 miles I would do spark plugs, oil, trans fluid, and if you really wanted to take good care of it, you could even flush your radiator and run new coolant.

Your owner’s manual will have a service schedule and it’ll tell you what to change/inspect at particular mileage intervals. You might have some fluid maintenance due at 30K. I doubt you’d be due for spark plugs any time soon though. Hit that manual and find the truth for yourself. I’ll try to remember to dig up a service schedule on Alldata tomorrow at work. No promises on that though. I can’t remember three minutes ago.

Use your owners manual, or a chilton’s/Haynes repair manual.

Use “Severe Duty” settings only! (the normal ‘duty’ is useless. I’ve never known any car/truck to be always run in 100% ideal conditions.)

With the fuel system cleaner you probably won’t notice a difference this early on but it doesn’t hurt to use a bottle at each oil change.

But yeah NOW is the time to really keep up on maintenance. That way when you have 120,000 miles, things will still be running well.
