There are lots of options Hung. Generally, the old saying is true of brake rotors, “you get what you pay for..” The best option for performance and durability is to go back with OEM Honda rotors and brake pads. If you spend a little more now, you will save money in the long run. Otherwise, you may be replacing the brake rotors sooner than you expected. To avoid dealership, prices, you might be able to find the parts online, such as Ebay. Best of luck

I recommend the 120 series rotors and Posi-Quiet semi-metallic or ceramic pads. I’ve had a lot of experience installing many brands of brake parts on many cars for years and this is what I use on my cars, and my family and friends’ cars.
I have their brakes on my Honda Accord and my Mom’s Civic:

They list several $$ points:
Economy: Basic gets the job done. Expect these to warp and/or rust out sooner then you would expect. (personal experience)
Daily Driver: aka: what the big brake houses sometimes use. They get the job done and use higher quality metal and such. Cost is a bit more then the El Cheapo’. But worth it not to tear things apart again after a year or two.
High Performance/Heavy Duty: This the the good stuff. Higher standards, lasts longer, the performance ones are often drilled and/or slotted for better heat displacement.
Always been a fan of Raybestos. ACDelco also has several listed in the “Professional” grade.
I would not hesitate to use the daily driver, but if I had the resources? I would go with heavy duty.
FWIW: (for what it’s worth) Your auto parts house branded type they normally stock? That will be the economy type. We got zinged with the Beetle Rotors I installed last year. Already had to replace both rotors under warranty due to rust pitting and severe warping after only 4 months of limited driving. And yes, the replacement rotors have already warped badly. (Calipers, slides, etc…all 100%. Just cheap china metal)

CENTRIC Part # 12840036L StopTech Sport Drilled Disc
THAT IS NOT A VALID PART NUMBER!! We do not know what you’re driving. Just to show that Centric’s brand name is StopTech Sport Drilled Disc for that rotor.

September 10, 2014 at 3:26 pm #619768I have a 2006 Acura TSX and 2008 Honda Ofyssey
I had used oem to a few aftermarket brands, one my friend told me they are excellent high quality which I forgot the brand ended up warpping less than a year, so I am going back to oem for now while search for a better quality, I do noticed that oem rotors are very very heavy for some reason.I would stay away from cross-drilled based on many cases i seen in the pass
Slotted looks good, cryo treated makes senses after reading about it
Thank you all for the infoSeptember 10, 2014 at 3:27 pm #619772Not a problem! Good luck with what ever you choose!!

September 10, 2014 at 4:26 pm #619776Do anyone have experience with Wagner ThermoQuiet pads ?
My friend recommended and installed them on for me, excellent quality made when i put them on my handSeptember 10, 2014 at 6:23 pm #619791Wagner’s a good well known brand.
I’ll admit that I do have a dislike for the uber high end ceramic pads. Most people use them for less brake dust, but personal experience has shown me that the ceramic run hotter and glaze over rotors. That’s just my personal experience however.
That being said- The reviews over at Amazon seem pretty decent. Looks like they might have a good product on their hands?
September 10, 2014 at 7:39 pm #619803i am in the process of swapping out the rotor, will update any finding, one possible cause the rotor to warp since you mentioned, great info, thanks Tedybear315
October 17, 2014 at 1:49 am #627789I did a search and found someone mentioned that Eric recommends Akebono brands for pads
i am from Canada, we are limited to certain brands, prices here also more than double what are listed on Tire Rackmight have them shipped to the boarder and go pick it up.
so far Centric looks good, trying out AC Delco Ceramic for the winter -
