Another question.. I have a new battery installed in my CRV 2002..

I have an aftermarket alarm and 2DIN HU / overhead monitor which is not working.. My problem is.. After using the car.. let’s say every time I go in and start my car the voltage reading is around 11.7-11.9 always!!! and then when the car is running my voltage is just between 12.7-8 to 13.2 volts.. I don`t get a reading of 14 volts.. Is it loose or bad ground connections.. Will big 3 adding wires could help me out?

I measure the volt using a volt meter plug in into a 3 way plug connected directly to the cigarette lighter..

Is this still good or is the alternator going bad? Can this is be fixed or changed?

Note planning to do a parasitic draw as well tomorrow to check if there’s a significant amount of draw in the system..

      Thanks!

You should be checking voltage directly at the battery terminals.
Also charging voltage and current there.
If you have some sort of smart charging system, the current and voltage will not increase until the minimum threshold is passed.
