I have axles on my legacy that are under warranty through a local shop.

Honestly I’ve always used my impact gun to install axle nuts, the truth is that roller wheel bearings like a preload so it’s very difficult to tighten them too much. As for replacing the axle nut that’s not something that I do often but if they come with a new axle I replace them. I’ve had good luck with Dorman axles.

The Dorman were the axle nuts. I don’t what the axles are, you don’t want whatever brand they are, at least half are bad right out of the box and none of have lasted more than a few months.

At work, i use my impact to get the bolt snug, then use my torque wrench for to tighten the axle nut down to proper specifications.
