      While the system is under vacuum you need to add as much_x000D_
      system charge as you can before even trying to run the compressor._x000D_
      The low pressure switch must see enough pressure to close to bring_x000D_
      the compressor on.

        I’m currently out of town – will provide you an update on coil resistance and clutch engagement when I’m back. Thanks for all the help/suggestions everyone!

            Better late than never – I forgot to let you all know what the problem was. It turns out the connector was bad. While I was measuring voltage on the wire, it was not making it to the compressor. I figured this out when I went to measure resistance on the coil. I measured 2.5 ohms direct on the compressor, but open on the wires – that’s when I checked the connector. I reseated the rubber gasket in the connector, pushed it firmly into the compressor, then it worked! I didn’t replace the connector, but I may do that if it fails again.
