      Hey everyone,

My daihatsu feroza, 4 cyc, single OH cam, 16 valve.

Has recently had the cylinder head removed and machined and the timing belt replaced.
I also changed the computer due to a fault code 11.

Now when I am using my timing light I can clearly see that I need to advance the distributor.
However my idle is then in the way- it revs to high and gets in the way.

I have used the idle mixture screw no help, checked for air leaks and there are no codes present.
I manually checked the crankshaft pulley, rocker arms and dizzy and they are all set to number 1.
So I strongly think my timing belt is set correctly.

      any ideas try or explore.
