a wiring diagram would be helpful, but it looks actually more like an afermarket relay kit. Like one would install for say fog lights or something. obviously without tracing the wires or getting a wire diagram youre only guessing. But it does not look factory.

Thats what im looking for is a wiring diagram. The harness goes underneath vehicle to bout more than halfway do a n the truck. Almost to rear wheel then somebody cut it. Since its been cut the truck will not start.

does it crank and not start, or no crank either? if no crank, then to starter most likely. if crank but no start then to fuel or ignition.

the relay looks fishy anyway like non factory. the mounting location is abnormal for OEM. If the cut wires are in fact what is causing the no start then this relay is wired in to the starting system.

So crank no start, or no crank?

It cranks but no start. And if u pour fuel down throttle body it starts and runs. So, I have it narrowed down to the ecu unit, so I replaced that with a used one and still wont start. The truck was running great and then sum A $$##**&, vandelized it and Im pretty sure that that particular wiring harness may have something to do with fuel. I had spent a month before that getting the damn thing running. Heres what ive done to the truck, new fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, new plugs, new wires, distributer cap, rotor and coil, new O2 sensor, relays all underhood for, used small computer (anti skid module ABS module) Nissan wanted 1500 bucks…yikes…but I got a pretty good connection at a local wreckers and he sold me 1 for less than 40.
(TG)…I think that might be pretty much it. So, thats kinda y I think that harness is probably something to do with fuel, I just cant tell where it goes to.
To top it all off my civic that I just replaced the clutch in, decides its not going to run anymore either. Since the clutch got put in my speedo, odometer I and trip counter doesnt work. And it seemed like something was draining battery, was getting harder to start saturday morning it wouldnt and this morning definately not. So, now im sitting here with two dead vehicles …a losing painting jobs

well you said you followed the wires to the rear of the truck. Maybe it goes to the fuel pump. You should be able to turn the key with out starting it, and hear the fuel pump buzz. You may need a buddy to turn the key if it is loud out and you cant hear. If you dont hear the buzz for a few seconds, then either the pump is bad, or it’s not getting voltage. If that cut wiring does in fact go to the fuel pump, look around the gas tank for dangling wires. Try to feel /see the wires coming off the top of the tank.

Regardless of whether or not this mysterious relay has anything to do with the no start, in any crank no start you need to verify fuel, ignition, and compression. The first two are fairly simple to do with no special tools. Check the basics first

Its not the fuel pump, that comes on. And fuel comes up to throttle body.
Ive checked fuel, not sure how to check ignition??

Looks like an aftermarket addition to me. If you’re trying to solve a no start, this might help.

BTW if you have an aftermarket security system this is suspect. You may want to remove it and retry.

Good luck and keep us posted.
