Hey guys.I need some advice please.I have a 2004 jeep wrangler that has a sticky throttle response. When I get the RPM’s up,they stay up for a second or two before coming down when I let off the gas.I have checked the throttle linkage and the mechanism is fine.I am thinking it’s the TPS but I don’t have a check engine light on.I am pretty sure there is no vacume leak either.I can’t find that particular issue online to verify it however, there is a recorded issue with the TPS for that year.Could that be the TPS and still have no check engine light? I’m trying to learn how to diagnose issues instead of throwing parts at the problem as I have done in the past. Thanks you guys :S
