      I hope someone can help me identify what part this is.

        Your link doesn’t see to be working. from the description and location you mentioned I would guess it is the coolant temp sensor. would not hurt to change it since you are doing a radiator and t/stat. don’t forget to bleed the cooling system.

            Sorry but all I see is two bolts. the ret of the pict is just a large grey area on my screen

              Yup.., Sounds like the coolant temp sensor..

                I only see the top two bolts as well. I wouldn’t replace what is probably the coolant temp sensor if it’s not bad. You may want to remove it, and apply some teflon tape to the threads and see if this fixes the leak however.

                      +1 on coolant temp sensor, I think it’s the one for the gauge and not the one for the computer BTW, normally the type that goes to the computer are 2 wire that one looks like a single wire set up. As suggested a little Teflon tape on the threads bef
