Ebay would be one good place to get a factory service manual.
There is also Chilton and haynes, but both of those books are a crap shoot for getting the info you need.
ANOTHER problem with factory service manuals is they may have “supplements” for electrical or whatever.
So if you can thumb thru a chilton or haynes in the store, it is better. I know they often plastic-wrap the things which is stupid.
In all cases, find out the return policy. Ebay’s return policy is confusing, buyer may have to pay return shipping. So you could ask the seller if the book for sale includes info and diagrams of the fuses, relays, etc…
Only drag there is having to wait for the book to arrive unless they offer expedited shipping (NOT cheap)
Try BBB Industries http://bbbind.com/ then go to the technical information tab. on the drop down click on TSB & Wiring Diagram. when you get to the section where you put in the car info. make sure to click the wiring diagram or you will be looking at the TSB. Hope this helps.
To be honest, I had no clue the factory manuals covered so much. Seems I should search an electronic one for mt 97 acura. Eric, thanks for the good info 🙂
One fun thing about the “other” brand Eric showed is it jumps around a lot or instructions may say
1) Disconnect negative battery terminal
2) Remove engineYeah, just knock those two steps out while your TV dinner is nuking…
OR – It says it is a difficult repair and should be taken to a shop. Well (4 letter word), yeah that is why I bought a manual so it could tell me to take it to a shop.
The “other” brand is good for torques or maybe clarification on jobs like “do I compress or turn the rear brake pistons to seat them?”
