1995 Toyota Corolla, manual.
The clutch pedal has freeplay as it should but the clutch does not engage until almost the top of the pedal travel (before it hits the freeplay range)
There seems to be no slippage of the clutch. It was replaced 14,000 miles ago, not sure of the condition now as I just got this car a month ago.
Also, when they did the clutch, I do not know if they did anything with the flywheel, I didn’t own the car at the time.I know the procedure to adjust the engagement point but is is necessary or a bad idea? I would like it to engage before it hits almost the top of the pedal travel.
