Hey all, I’m replacing the heater core of a 2007 Lincoln navigator. I’m going to attach a video I made so you have a visual too. I had to cut the aluminum tubes at the core to get the old unit out due to pita “quick” disconnect linea to the heater core. I got the new unit in, then I accidentally pushed a hose in the wrong connection. I’ve been trying to get it back off for two hours. No room to fit a disconnect tool in there, using pics and skinny screwdrivers.

Is it ok to leave connections to the heater core on backwards?

It’ll be a bit more prone to trapping air bubbles in there, but if you bleed the air out properly it should work okay.

Change if plans, I’m cutting off the eleged quick disconnects and coupling in standard clamps and straight hose. Screw this noise!
