my girlfriend Scion XB with a ABS system problem

Hello Eric my name is Steven i have a question a couple of weeks ago my girlfriend Megan went and got a used Scion XB she loves it and is fully loaded but they is a problem. Even since she has the car the ABS system has not been working right. Like when she got the car the ABS light came on. The story she got the car at a BMW/Mazda dealer. So when she toke it in 3 weeks ago to the dealer that she got it at then the the dealer sent it over to a Toyota/Scion dealer and the dealer. Happens to be the same one that where my mom got her 2011 Toyota Venza almost 5 years ago and when my sister got her 2015 Toyota RAV4 back in Oct of last year. So it was at the dealer for 3 weeks now she got it back today. But then 10 min later the ABS came on again so it is back at the dealer again. The dealer is looking at it again and they said that they can’t find the problem. Then they will replace the whole ABS system. So if you have a idea on what could be making the ABS system acting up? Need to know the abs codes to really help. A description of what it’s doing or not doing other than the light. How are the brakes?
