I love my snap on wrenches, they just ‘feel’ good but I would have to say that one of my all time favorites is my torch set as they have gotten me out of more jams than anything. I’m sure I’ll come up with more stuff too but those are the first ones I could think of.

          Quoted From KLFER:

Digital Oscilloscopes are very spendy. good DVOM have the funtion built in along with scan tools. plus they do so much more then a Digital Oscilloscopes.

Agreed in part, a good DVOM and scan tool are extremely good in what they do, however “seeing” a live trace on a digital oscilloscope (DSO) rather than looking at instantaneous readings on a DVOM or scantool opens up a whole new ballgame as you are now able to see complete live traces (e.g. coil and injector sequence pulses, current draw using a DC clamp, noise on the 12v line etc..) merely by looking at these pulse you can tell if they are good or bad (ok, you need experience and reference data). You also have the ability to store your own reference waveforms, but you always have the web as a source of signal information. As to cost I recently bought a

Tool I use most is Princeton-Tec LED Headlamp. Tough as nails, runs 4-6 hrs on a charge, works way better than a trouble light.

my favorite tool of all time that i bought was a matco 3/8 spark plug flexhead ratchet.

Before I could afford impact tools, and had limited 1/2 inch and such, i used this ratchet for absolutely everything. From alternators, to transmissions, to brakes, to ball joints. After all of the abuse I have put this tool through, it still works just as good when I bought it. I think I bought it for $99 from my old tool guy, but it paid itself off in a week.

Not trying to market Matco, but this ratchet is well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone
