My car is a 98 Honda accord 2.3L ex up
Engine code is f23a4. Whenever in try to accelerate the car it just no go over 3000 that’s when I have it on neutral or parking, but that’s not all when I drive it the car does hesitate a lot, and it takes a long time to gain high speed. I recently took it to the mechanic because I had stalling problems and now that I have it back I also have a ton of more problems the first one is the one I just mention second I got this other codes P1106, P1259, p0122.I tried to take it back to the mechanic and he said that all those codes are because the car timing belt is off by a tooth.I did not argue with this fool because I previously had a valve job because a broken timing belt. Now I currently working on the timing belt again I just want to make sure that I’m doing this right
can any one tell me if the timing marks are correct

Did it have no power since the belt replacement or did it just start? If you think it really is out you can check this out to see if it helps you.

I guess the pictures did not up load but yes, the power loss was after the timing belt replacement.

Ok…If you go to you tube and type in your car/year and timing belt you will see Erics video there. There are some other ones there too.

The other scan codes are TP sensor and VTEC solenoid failure I believe. With your scan tool connected, read the TPS sensor output. Note the car doesn’t need to be running.

As you press the gas pedal, the reading should change accordingly.

BTW, how long ago(in miles) was the valve job done and was it running fine after that till just recently?
