So I pulled the brake pads off my car and went to put on the new pads and they
were completely different. I bought the car used from a dealer. Is it possible
they put different brake calipers on? If so, how do I figure out what brake pads I
      need?

        Anything is possible..
But I would take the old pads to the store and find a match.
Or look for a part number on the piece and do a search.

I did both of those things with no luck. I can’t see a part number anywhere on the old pad.

Dumb question did you perhaps get the wrong set of pads?
