Just did a brake fluid flush on a 2007 Saturn Relay FWD 40k miles 6 cyl. Brake fluid was kinda dark. Used a turkey baster to get out as much fluid as I could but I couldn’t get that much because the turkey baster was too big to fit into the brake fluid reservoir. So I just pumped out the old fluid through the back calipers:
face down, ‘rear-end’ up
one-man brake bleeder
setup to ensure air will rise to the highest point
all the old brake fluid
Fresh DOT 3 all the way around 🙂
