The Chilton’s Library at Michigan’s eLibrary has a great exploded view. Here are the links:
Goto: elibrary.mel.org
Click on the MeL Library icon
Scroll down until you can select ChiltonLibrary.com
The Login is C4535896486
Enter the year/make/model, and click Select. Afterwards, click on Repair. Select Brakes. Then select Front Disc Brakes. Then select Brake Disc (Rotor). Then select Removal & Installation. Hopefully the diagrams and step-by-step will help confirm your progress. Good luck and keep us posted.
Ok, after watching the video again, I think I know what I screwed up. I removed the bolts in the hub before I started doing the “long bolt” trick, so without those there, it probably didn’t drag the bearing out along with everything else. I suppose what I’ll need to do is partially reassemble it, ie, put those hub bolts back in, and then do the long bolt trick again.
Does that make any sense?
Thanks again.
Ron
PS is there a way to post pictures? This would be easier if I could show what’s going on.
