      Today – was a proud day… Amongst the various services I have done working on trucks and trailers here in Australia – I did my first Dolly service – unattended – all by myself!!! banana:

      It needs new brake shoes and drums to be skimmed – but everything else – WAS ALL DONE BY ME!! YEEHARRR!!!

      Anyways – Im excited – hence the thread! Do you guys call these “Dollys” over there?

        very nice.. looks like basic s-cam air brakes. looks like fun. 🙂

        Here in the states we have dollies as well for combination trailers; however, ours are almost exclusively single axle.

          They are almost all S cam these days. Also single axle tend to be for lighter and single trailer loads. Duel axle for heavier loads and A/B trains(Multi-trailer). Triple tend to be used off-road for logging and mining. Traction and heavy loads.
          Australia is intense for this…

          Road trains.
