Help! I have an iPad and I’m trying to read the ECTG website.

It forces me into a mobile web browser webpage which sucks on the iPad. Would be nice on the phone, but my iPad has a much bigger screen. Much more suitable for regular web pages!

How do I make it so I’m not defaulted into the mobile web page?

I don’t know what I did. Today, I get the main web pages (not mobile) on my Samsung Galaxy S. I, actually, prefer to the main web pages instead of the mobile pages. I use the Boat browser which does a good job formatting regular web pages on small display.

There should be options in the browser to load the full version by default. If not, most mobile sites have a link at the very bottom that will load the full version. On Chrome on my S3 I got to the main site by going to the main homepage (not the forum) and at the bottom it said “Home > Mobile Home”. I clicked home and it loaded the full version and all internal links from there (such as the forum) were on the full version as well.

I did an upgrade to the mobile site last night, you need to clean your cache out in order to receive the correct site.

i need to get the forum a template update that will happen later, and you can switch your phone to the normal site like you did with the tablet

I did the tablet method. But it is not permanent. It only displays one desktop page and the next page will go back to mobile page.

I cleared the cache and switched to desktop page. But when I open the next page which went back to the mobile page.

delete the shortcut you use on your home screen, cookies and again cache, the most important player here is the cache

Deleted shortcut,cookies and cache. Hit the desktop button and get the following message:

You may not be able to visit this page because of:
1. an out-of-date bookmark/favorite
2. search engine has an out-of-date listing of this site
3. a mistyped address
4. you have not access to this page
5. The requested resource was not found
6. An error has occurred while processing your request.
