MIssing hose on 97 Accord after shop fixing AC?

I just had the AC compressor, etc replaced on my 97 Accord. Upon my inspection when I got the car home (picked it up after they had shut down for the day), I noticed what looked like a nipple that *might* have had a hose connected to it? I didn’t see any hose anywhere to connect, so I’m not sure if there is anything to connect or not. Does anyone recognize this spot I’m talking about?

It’s below and slightly to the right (at the bend) near the large AC line as shown in my pic below.

Take it back to whoever worked on it and point this out to them.

I think that is simply a vent for the transmission, and never had a hose connected to it in the first place.

I think your are right Tomh. It’s item # 5 on this parts breakdown

It has nothing to do with Air Conditioning… As stated it is probably a vent…. look for a hose disconnected and then re-install it….

It looks a little too clean to have always been uncapped like that. Look for some vacuum line hanging loose from the air intake or thereabouts.
