Misfiring

So i own this 1997 Ford Ranger With the 4.0 liter engine. I have tried everything i can to fix a misfire on cyclinder 6. I have taken it to a shop and they couldn’t find it. they replaced the spark plug and wire and it calmed it down some. They spent close to 4 hours looking at it and still cant find out why. It appears to be arcing from the spark plug and boot of the wire.

If your seeing arcing..
You have either a faulty spark plug or wire or both.
Might try the water spray method on it in the dark to confirm.

Possibly maybe they did not seat the wire correctly on the plug? If your seeing arcing there is probably your main issue.

If i still my hand near the engine while running it shocks me some and you can see it arcing to my finger.

Do a compression check on that cylinder,it maybe piston or valve related called a dead cylinder.If you know anyone that has a good used coil,try this too and maybe a bad coil as well.The good used coil is a test piece basically before you buy a new one
