Misfires.. which one is which??

i have a 99 lincoln towncar… i have cylinder misfires 2,4,7 which ones are 2,4,7 can anybody help please??? also whats a good way to diagnose… i replaced all spark plug. when i pull the coils off to see if the engines changes or stays the same.. it stays basically the same agfter i pull off all of them.. not at once of course.. but none of them make a differnece just pulling off one by one… .. im going to replace all coils soon anyways.. so my main concern is finding out which ons are 2,4,7

One to four is on the passenger side and five to eight is on the drivers side.

I would be looking for a vacuum leak first of all.

I agree with wysetech that many cylinders misfiring would cause me to look at a possible vac leak. Id also check your injectors. Itd help to take a good look at all of your spark plugs as they can sometimes give you additional clues.
