      Yesterday my wife put gas in my 09 Focus. she left it running. smh. anyhow now the mile til empty will not go up at all when fueling and the low fuel level light stays on. Is there any way to reset this?

        sounds like the fuel sender arm is stuck. You could try and
        shake the back of the car to slosh the fuel of bang of the
        bottom of the tank with a dead blow hammer or mallet.

          thanks for the input. its supposed to reset after a few miles but it finally reset after 30 miles. lol
