Mercury 1994 marquis( Lights, loose cable, ect)

I have a Mercury Marquis 1994
1) my interiol light stay on & kill my battery. I’ve look at the fuse box & I can’t pull the fuse because it hook up to things I need. If I open car door without turning on the key, the interiol light will stay on, eventhough I close the door. Till I turn the car on & turn the light off again. & sometime it will still stay on for no reason.
2) My car won’t shift into gear, It will be in park, but will roll back. I was told it was a stretch cable. I’m not sure if has anything do with my light problems.
any suggests will be apperated, thanks.
