Not that you do not have enough on your plate at his time but …… What about reviews of the guys / gals in the field of tools and storage units ? Not sure if this would interfere with some of the sponsorship possibly ? Some oddball stuff out there will make life a bit easier or more organized to us more productive . When I first got into the business it was the older generation passing down what they learned that helped the younger group of us acquire the tools to make us better .

I sort of covered this a few years back.

I’ll also work to try and continue to cover stuff like this. I hope to keep it relevant and useful rather than an advertisement.

        Thanks for the suggestion.

What I was suggesting was those of us out here give you feedback on what we use in our daily battle to keep America rolling . Then of course you would pick and choose what to feature if something is of interest .

Not quite sure I follow you here. Are you suggesting tool reviews or interviews with viewers?

Strength comes in numbers . Myself it has been over 30 years and some tools have been a total waste while others have been lifesavers . Back in the day you had to buy it to try it . Online reviews help me make some choices as what to buy if an actual tech has a positive or negitive thought I want to know .Some short cuts were learned the hard way or the seasoned tech would pass the “trick” to the younger generation . So the vast knowledge could be passed through this venue . We are all never to old to learn . TTYL .

Interviews with viewers seems like it could be interesting-
Maybe calling on the various groups of techs/mechs (i.e. the 30+ years in the field, the under 10 years in the field, tech-turned-shop-owners, etc.) to submit their stories/tips for success and then choose a couple to interview personally.

…somewhat similar to what was done for the Valvoline video with Erin and Travis.

It would take some coordinating but could be quite valuable. B)

Interviews like this may be a little more work than I can invest in right now. I’ll look for opportunities in the future however.

                  Thanks for the suggestion.

I never thought about actual interviews . That would be different . In the short term my thoughts were we , the other techs in the field could submit say a tool we have purchased which really proves to be useful . Or a tech tip like a short cut we found to doing water pumps on trailblazers as some examples .

I actually have a place for this on this very forum.
