Mazda 3 check engine light on

After my mechanic changed the engine mounts and transmission mount the check engine light and AT light turned on any ideas of what went wrong?

plugging a scan tool in and extracting some codes may narrow down your issues, lots of parts places will scan for codes for free at least here in michigan just write down the code and post it on here and we can help you narrow the issue down, some shops don’t have that bad a deal on code scanning either, also cheep scan tool can be had for about $50-$100

If everything was fine before you touched it. First assume that anything you might have touched is likely the issue. Recheck your work first.

Since your mechanic has done something to cause these issues, if the car was fine immediately before the work, then you should be taking the car back to him and complaining. He has obviously done or not done something to trigger the warning lights so he should be on the hook to fix the problem. He will no doubt try and charge you now for rectifying what he has done wrong.
