      Hello all,

I have problems to find the good positions to place my recently bought jack stand that has deep teeth.

      Front Jack Stand Position:
Based on my research, I illustrate the position that I thought is good.
      Please see picture A.

      Question>Is this the right spot?

      Rear Jack Stand Position:
I really have no idea how to place the jack stand for the rear part of the car. Please see picture B.

Question> I would like to know whether or not the position marked by rectangle is good for the jack stand.

The problem I have is illustrated in picture C. My jack stand is in picture D.

Any suggestion or advices are welcome.

      Thank you very much

The front jack location is a good spot. Try to find a similar spot in the rear.

The front is an alright spot. It seems like it may slip though, try to find a groove to put the jackstand under. I think the rear spot isnt too good either. For the rear i would put it where that groove was sort of near your position. This groove I beleive was above the word stand.

Structural areas like the subframe you pointed out are OK. For the most part the pinch welds that you pointed to on the rockers are a good place also. These areas are where you would place the jack that comes with the car to change a spare tire so they are made for support. I believe these locations are also outlined in most if not all owners manuals.
