I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed manual and I just got back from having my cars check engine light checked. It came up with a P0105 map sensor. I don’t even know what one of those looks like if someone could please explain what it is and how to replace it I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

+1 Don’t assume just because you have a code for something that that part is bad. You need to do some follow up and testing to be sure a part is bad before you replace it. Especially with MAP sensor codes. The MAP sensor can be effected by an engine performance issue. If there’s a problem with the engine it can effect the MAP readings and set a MAP sensor code. Keep us posted on what you find.
