Manual Transmission noise when giving gas,

Hello everyone.
The car that is having issue is a 95 Honda civic with 210K. When the car is in neutral and give gas, it sounds good. But whenever is in gear, the moment I give it gas, there is a winding noise. When I let go the gas, the noise goes away. It happens in all five gears. The noise sounds like is coming form the transmission area. There is no noise when engaging or disengaging the clutch. Any ideas?
Also, when I accelerate, the shifter moves back a little bit. Is this normal?

I tend to agree with wysetech. If the problem only happens when pressure is on the throwout bearing I think that is the most likely source of the noise.
