Every time I shift gears 1,2,3 and the Reverse… It feels… I don’t know how to explain it but.. It feels hard and it feels like its stuck a little but the rest of the gears 4,5 shifts perfectly fine.

Is it a problem or is it normal? 🙁

Not much to go on there. What kind of car is it? What year, how many miles, any other transmission related issues?

The shifter mechanism it’s self could be in need of cleaning and lubricating (under the boot, where the actual working bits are), shift levers on the transmission could need lubrication. Could have a shift cable that is damaged, or sticking and in need of lubrication, could be something wrong inside the transmission.

If it’s a Honda, it could just be the way those beasts shift.

It’s a 2000 Honda Accord EX, 5 – Speed Sedan and it’s got over 200k miles on it. & I guess it could just be the way those beasts shift. Just making sure that nothings wrong with the transmission and all Lol. xD Thanks for your reply Tomh. 🙂

check your trans fluid. Try changing the fluid with the
            proper fluid.
